membership comprised of sighted persons.
Prior to 1986, the Welfare Association coordinated the operations of a Sheltered Handicraft Workshop for totally blind persons. To-date the size of the membership has grown to approximately

The maim goals of the organization is to influence policies and programs designed to improve the well-being, safety and general enabling environment to support blind, severely
impaired and sighted persons in especially vulnerable homes/communities. This include programs and activities that are designed to promote social integration and inter-generational
relationships.
